父亲荷兰人、母亲埃及人的女歌手自幼在南美乌拉圭成长
起初萝拉费琪1980年在荷兰组团，主要演唱摇滚乐为主
1989年萝拉的乐团解散后，开始走唱生涯
爵士乐评家认为她的歌声就像Natalie Cole一般深具魅力
