歌曲“红翼鸟”演唱：Steel Wheels

 “红翼鸟”是一首通俗歌曲，曲调取自德国作曲家舒曼的1848年钢琴曲"The Happy Farmer, Returning From Work，Album fuer die Jugend, Op.68, No.10（放工归来的快乐农夫）"。1907年由Kerry Mills改编， Thurland Chattaway填词。国内上世纪四五十年代，口琴家石人望和陈剑晨已将其改编成口琴曲。此外该曲多被收集在儿童钢琴曲集。

 

歌曲描述一个印第安女子的悲伤，她的爱人在战场上英勇牺牲了。后来它也被编成劳工歌曲”Union maid(女工会会员)”。   

 

前几年，它再度被Steel Wheels演唱组改编，名字仍是“Red Wing(红翼鸟)”,  但歌词更为忧郁，不少听众表示会联想起祖父母那辈人的生活。此歌曲流传很广，我想，去年上映的美国电影“红翼鸟”似乎就取其的涵义吧：”啊，我的红翼鸟温柔地带着我 / 现在飞向我的故乡，飞向我的老家。/啊，我的红翼鸟紧紧地护着我/在明亮太阳下带着我。“女主角在草地上哄孩子入睡时唱了这几句。

 

  网上找不到这两首歌词的中译，便于读者知晓，我就译出大意，会有不妥之处。附上两段视频。
