Cara Dillon 卡兰 迪伦，在爱尔兰语里Cara是朋友的意思，Dillon这个姓氏在爱尔兰语里是忠实的意思，所以Cara Dillon的名字的意思是忠实的朋友。 

卡兰 迪伦 Cara Dillon 1975年出生于 北爱尔兰的Londonderry郡，是一位爱尔兰民谣歌手，此外她还会演奏爱尔兰锡稍Irish Whistle，小提琴Fiddle。2001年她的同名专辑《Cara Dillon》发行，这张专辑的发行标志着她独唱生涯的开始。其实早在Cara Dillon十几岁的时候就在一个爱尔兰青年 Oige 乐队里担任主唱了，后来她又加入了Equation乐队，并结识了她后来的丈夫Sam Lakeman，此外Cara Dillon还和很多同行合作过
