就这样笑着，忙碌着或者干脆什么也不做真的好么？从前认识的，现在认识的朋友们，改变了的变得再也不能接近，像是在深夜的这一边，迟疑的看着手机屏幕等待一个熟悉又陌生的消息，一边边看自己打出的最后一行；而未曾改变的又那么可怕，他们的存在像是昭示着什么不可告人的秘密，就好像在喧闹的酒吧舞池里在你的耳边大声喊：“放弃吧！放弃把！”当时并听不太清，但是等回到一个人的世界里的时候，满脑子都是这杂乱的嗡嗡声。
最有趣的是，曾经最期待的在并没有被我期待的人们身上实现了，这么有预见性的事情现在看起来那么好笑，其实嘛，大家都不是你曾经见到的样子，你想看见的只有你愿意看见的样子。
自虐式的连着看了了不起的盖茨比的书，芭蕾舞和电影，果然还是书看了最难受了。看芭蕾舞的时候，看着Gatsby一个人在舞台中央和一个幻影翩翩起舞，这些动作和舞步都是曾经和Daisy舞的那一段，而此时此刻，只有他一个人不知道重复了他第几次的双人舞。电影所改编的地方让人感觉有些过了，很多地方看到了对于Gatsby的明显的怜惜，至少有人为他得了精神病，以他写了一本书，至少在他死前，那个第二天早上给了他最后一个幻觉，在那个幻觉里Daisy爱的人是他，而且至始至终只有他。
翻开书，这本“ONCE AGAIN TO ZELDA”的书并没有那么温情，更多的是对于现实的无奈，毕竟什么样的作家写出什么样的书，菲兹吉拉德自己挣扎于现实与幻觉之间，他以一个第三者的角度讲述了这么一个Gatsby,他是一个充满谜团的，是一个拥有着罕见的转瞬即逝的微笑的，是一个疯狂的，执迷不悟的，深情的，是一个将双臂伸向远方那个早已逝去的幻梦的背影，他或许讲的也是一个旁观的角度的辗轧在现实与幻觉中的自己，并且给了自己一个悲剧。
最后一章，男主要为Gatsby找人来参加葬礼，他打了不知道多少电话，却找不到一个人。“……我真想给他找一个人来。我真想走到他躺着的那间屋子里去安慰他说：‘我一定给你找一个人来，盖茨比。别着急。相信我好了，我一定给你找一个人来……’……”
最后的最后，有一位客人的车灯照在了门口台阶上，“刚从天涯海角归来，还不知道宴会早已收场了。”
一遍又一遍放着电影里的插曲，叫young and beautiful（最后附上的是这首歌的歌词），是Gatsby带Daisy看他为她准备的庄园，打开一扇又一扇门，看了一间又一间华丽的房间，在海边打高尔夫时的插曲。他指着那一盏海湾对面的绿灯，对身边的Daisy说，我就是那么望着你的，憧憬着你的时候，到底有没有意识到他所钟情的其实并不是遥远的过去，也不是失而复得的感情，他也许只是太沉迷于沉迷于幻觉中的自己了，毕竟那样的东西太美好了，因为它并不真实。
