抛开故事情节不说,除了影片梦幻般的画面,另一值得推荐之处,就是影片中穿插不断的音乐。这些乐曲来至六七十年代以来十六个摇滚乐队的十七首歌, 虽然大部分歌不是为影片而特别打造的,但在影片中却是恰到时好处, 给人以视觉与听觉的完美享受。其中为影片创作的由甲壳虫乐队(The Beatles)成员之一保罗·麦卡特尼(Paul McCartney )主唱的同名主题曲"Vanilla Sky",曾经入围74届奥斯卡奖。
