2010年美国乡村音乐界最受瞩目的乐队非战前女神（Lady Antebellum）莫属。这个创建于2006年的三人组合凭借2010年发行的专辑Need You Now（《需要你》）以及同名单曲“Need You Now”（《需要你》）在第53届格莱美奖中大放异彩，一举拿下5项大奖——年度最佳制作、年度最佳歌曲、最佳乡村乐队、最佳乡村歌曲以及最佳乡村专辑。“战前女神”的名字就这样一夜间传遍世界，一首“Need You Now”（《需要你》）被不同国籍、不同肤色、不同语言的人传唱开去。
战前女神的组建颇为有趣，男主唱Charles Kelley（查尔斯·凯利）2005年从北卡罗莱纳州搬到了纳什维尔，尝试着变成一名成功的乡村歌手。他说服了中学同学——多才多艺的Dave Haywood（戴夫·海伍德，吉他/键盘手）与自己共同创作音乐。不久之后，凯利在Myspace上认识了Hilary Scott（希拉里·斯科特，女主唱）后，两个男生开始计划组建纳什维尔音乐俱乐部并邀请斯科特加入。于是，三人组成了乡村音乐队并命名为“战前女神”，与Capital Nashville（纳什维尔首都唱片公司）签了约，从此踏上了音乐梦想之路。
“Just a Kiss”（《只是一个吻》）是该乐队在2011年5月份发布的新单曲（。新单曲沿袭乐队风格，依旧以清新为主打，男女合唱使得曲子比单人演唱显得更丰富、表现力更强。而“Just a Kiss”给我们带来的不仅仅是比普通乡村音乐更为多样的听觉享受，也向我们传递了一个讯息——在这个“一切不以效率为目的的行为都是可耻的”世界里，面对一份渴望珍惜的感情，也许在情愫萌发之时，多给它一点时间，它将会让我们更靠近我们找寻已久的爱情。
