“Lemon Tree”《柠檬树》歌曲“Lemon Tree”写一位大男孩在某个下着太阳雨的星期天下午等候着他的女朋友，歌曲将等人时的焦虑不安及胡思乱想的心情表现得淋漓尽致。歌曲开始时，给人一种淡淡的忧伤，无助的失落和浅浅的惆怅，但随着歌曲旋律缓缓流淌，曲风渐渐转为轻松，明快，似乎之前的一切灰色调情愫都已烟消云散了，但这又何其不是乐景衬哀情呢。他在追忆着女孩昨日所描绘的蓝天，记忆虽然甜美，但现实却非如此，面前满眼都是柠檬树，酸酸楚楚，让他感到无尽的孤独和无奈。或许，作者凭借直觉创作这样的作品时甚至连他自己都未意识到这种情感，但这又何碍？艺术的伟大之处就在于不同的听众有着不同的理解和感触，酸甜苦辣，五味陈杂，这也正是生活的意义所在。

这首歌是Fool's Garden（愚人花园乐队）的成名之作。1991年，这支由五个德国小伙子组成的乐队在德国弗茨海姆 “愚人花园” 成立时，恐怕谁也没有预料到，有一天他们会因为一棵《柠檬树》而红遍世界。《柠檬树》发行于1996年，曾在英国排行榜排到第26名，而在德国排名榜曾连续几周排名第一。歌曲被翻译成40多种语言，唱片销量超过六百万张，“愚人花园”的全球巡演也赢得了世界的喝彩。
